Disney Wonder Virtual Vacation
National Virtual Vacation Day is March 30. Virtual Vacation Day is a fun way to remind folks they don’t have to wait to embark on their dream vacations. A virtual vacation means that you don’t have to pack, or take time off of work, spend any money or more importantly right now, leave your home! As all travel is basically shut down for now, and in honor of National Virtual Vacation Day, we’re posting some virtual vacations from our recent trips. From now until March 30, we’ll be sharing videos and pictures from some of our favorite vacations. Let’s start with a virtual vacation on the Disney Wonder featuring Palo Brunch. First we have a video and then a selection of photos that will make your mouth water. So, its time to sail away on this Disney Wonder virtual vacation. Bon voyage!
Palo Brunch Virtual Vacation
Palo Brunch is a “Must-Do” on a Disney cruise. Its an experience you don’t want to miss! Palo is an upscale, adults-only restaurant, so its perfect for us “awesome adults”. Its located on Deck 10 at the very back of the ship, with huge windows that allow fabulous views of the sea. Brunch is served on sea days. This cruise was the first after my daughter turned 18, so she got to experience her first Palo Brunch. She loved it! That’s her narrating most of the video. We were on a Merrytime Cruise, so the holiday spirit was even shining in Palo. But even on a regular day, Palo is awesome.
The ambiance at Palo is amazing, even during a rain storm at sea. The food and service are superb. There is more food than even I can eat. Palo has tables of bread, cheeses, seafood and my personal favorite, desserts. And then there’s the main courses! Below is a snapshot of the menu, in case you weren’t hungry enough from the video. 🙂 If you don’t leave Palo brunch stuffed, you’re not doing it right. Luckily, we had late dinner, because we couldn’t even think about eating again until then.

I LOVED reading this post as I just cruised Disney Wonder and brunched at Palo less than two weeks ago during a 14 day Panama Canal sailing. I agree with you – the Wonder is fantastic & Palo is AMAZING! My husband and I dined at Palo for dinner and then again at brunch because the first meal was so fantastic. I needed a nap after the brunch, though…so much food!

I sooo want to take the Panama Canal cruise! It’s on my bucket list, but will have to wait a few years.
